Using only the best and greenest materials, Austin's oldest continually running millwork, B & G Millwork, has gone green.

Our cabinetry is meticulously handcrafted, and all of our interior casework is made with a low formaldehyde ply material which is also insect resistant.  Our cabinetry interiors are pre-finished and cured by high intensity ultraviolet lights.

We make available a range of traditional and popular woods such as Maple, Alder, Cherry and Beech along with a range of some of the best sustainable materials available including Plyboo, Durapalm, Kirei, Dakota Burl, Wheatboard, and White Okume.  And, we use some extraordinary waterborne finishes and oils from Europe to provide some of the best finishes available.

Those who live in Austin understand Austin's unique creativity at work in our local music scene and in our local east side art studios, and some of Austin's local woodworking talent is no exception.  Our cabinetry is inspired by some of the best west coast design and a Euro style and creates a unique Austin look which combines local woods such as Mesquite and Pecan alongside wheatboard, bamboo, and Kirei.
